WE TAKE A QUICK LOOK AT WHAT GEAR OUR Radiohead USED AT GLASTONBURY 2017.
Whether you want to know how Radiohead got their sound, need to know what guitar Thom Yorke used at Glastonbury 2017 or you simply have to know how Ed O'Brien and Colin Greenwood, our Glastonbury 2017 gear guide has it all!
For music geeks like us, one of the cool things about watching Glastonbury 2017 is seeing what gear our musical heroes are playing. Us mere mortals look on whilst these gods of rock and pop turn a Telecaster into an instrument of pure musical genius, take a keyboard and sculpt immense soundscapes and make amplifiers roar like we’ve never heard before. Sorry… I got a bit carried away there. Well, either way we like looking at what headliners Radiohead were playing so we can find out exactly how they get the sounds they do.
So, today we’re doing a quick Radiohead Glastonbury 2017 gear guide and taking a look at what the (arguably most interesting) headliners chose to bring to the stage.
RADIOHEAD GLASTONBURY 2017 GEAR GUIDE
Well, we had to start with a Radiohead gear guide didn’t we?! Radiohead were by far the most anticipated band of the weekend, and they certainly didn’t disappoint. Now we couldn’t go through everything the band used on stage, but we can certainly give you a whistle stop highlight! So let’s take a quick look at the gear we could spot on stage.
WHAT GUITARS DID THOM YORKE USE AT GLASTONBURY 2017?

Take a look.
Thom was seen to be playing his 1964 Cherry Red Gibson SG in songs such as 'Bodysnatchers' and has been using SG's since the mid 90's. In addition, Thom Yorke used 2 different Fender Jazzmasters, a black and a white version.
Thom was seen here above using an Olympic White Fender Jazzmaster with rosewood neck.
And here again using a black Fender Jazzmaster. Thom also brought out his Epiphone Casino many times throughout the Glastonbury headline set.
Thom also used his Martin 000-18 during the performance of 'Exit Music For a Film'.

WHAT GUITARS DID COLIN GREENWOOD USE AT GLASTONBURY 2017?
Colin kept it simple for this show, using his White Fender Precision bass. A long time customer (and friend) of ours at Oxford PMT, we were stoked to see him headline Glastonbury almost 20 years to the day when he last took to the Pyramid stage.
Well, it was short and sweet , but that's all teh guitar gear that Radiohead played at Glastonbury 2017! We hope you enjoyed it.
