In 40 years of product development, Yamaha has found four wood snare drum bearing edge designs that produce unique tonal character and depth. Sharp edges deliver sharper tone with excellent response and rounded angles produce a rounder, thicker tone
The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch is equipped with 6-ply birch shells, which help create a strong sound whilst offering enhanced durability, with Remo drum heads for smooth, accurate responses
The tom is mounted via the YESS system which helps eliminate potential dampening that happens when hardware is drilled directly into the shell and gives the tom more resonance and volume
