Superb Construction - While preserving the standard Maple Top/Mahogany Back construction of rock guitar favourites, the body of the SG1820 was redesigned to help capture the sound and aesthetic that modern players want. A deeply-curved contoured top piece, combined with a back piece that features optimised wood-mass for maximum string-body vibrations, results in a modern classic of a guitar that's sure to turn heads.
Incredible Playability - To deliver a warm, well-balanced tone and superb playing feeling, Yamaha have equipped this axe with a bound, premium Rosewood fingerboard, as opposed to the more-tradition Ebony.
Seymour Duncan Pickups - A pair of Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers have been fitted to this guitar, and is the perfect match for the tonewoods used in its construction to deliver a hot-vintage tone, with plenty of presence and depth. In addition to this, each pickup features independent Volume and Tone control pots, whilst a 3-way toggle switch allows you to change between them for your perfect tone.
Rock-Solid Hardware - To ensure you sound at your very best with each performance, this guitar has been equipped with a set of Grover Locking Tuners, a Graph Tech Nut, and a TonePros Bridge/Tailpiece.
