Powerful Dry Switch
Designed especially for their Revstar range of guitars, the RS820 comes equipped with a revolutionary Dry Switch. With the option to split your double coil into a single coil, often comes a muddiness and loss of volume but the technicians at Yamaha have developed a solution.
Filtering out the low frequencies using a passive filter circuit, the dry switch improves clarity and fills the tone back out, providing this guitar with a truly useable tool for a more versatile overall tone.

The RS720B, being part of the Revstar range from Yamaha, was heavily inspired by the classic café racer motorcycles of 1960's London and Tokyo. In a nod to the Japanese engineering of years gone by, Yamaha have adopted their 'no frills, no compromises' mentality and delivered a truly performance-enhanced workhorse with tasteful, elegant aesthetics.
With an elegant, all black, gloss finish, beautiful inlays and a visually stunning and versatile Bigsby B50 - the tasteful, classic-industrial roots of this guitar are worn like a badge of honour for all to see.
