Designed for the keyboardist who doesn't want to compromise their sound and achieve ultra-dynamic, multi-layered tones either on stage, in the studio or streaming, the Yamaha MODX6+ Music Synthesizer is a 61 semi-weighted keyed synth that delivers powerful performance along with next-level technology to suit the modern day musician.
Taking notes from its bigger brother, the Montage, the MODX6+ utilises two synthesis engines, one being the sample-based AWM2 Synthesis Engine (Advanced Wave Memory 2), the other being the FM-X Synthesis Engine (Frequency Modulation). Both can be used simultaneously, enabling performers to unlock and achieve impressive and complex soundscapes which are perfect for a wide selection of projects.
One of the most standout functions is Smart Morph, which as the name suggests allows you to morph between FM-X sounds to achieve a selection of refreshingly new and interactive sounds. On the other hand, Motion Control allows control of up to 128 parameters at the same time, which can either be automated or manually controlled with the onboard Super Knob.
Boasting over 2200 sounds and a 256 note Polyphony built-in to the Yamaha MODX6, the premium music synthesizer provides immersive studio quality performance from the very first note.
