The Yamaha FSX800C electro acoustic guitar is an entry level guitar suitable for beginners looking for a solid instrument to get started with. Yamaha have listened to the feedback from guitar players to design an acoustic that is comfortable to play but doesn’t compromise on tone and with on board tuner and preamp the Yamaha FSX800C will be suitable for live or studio applications.

Yamaha originally created the F series of acoustic guitars with the goal of offering quality instruments at reasonable price points allowing beginners and regular musicians to have access to the guitar, since then Yamaha acoustics have become one of the most popular acoustic guitars in the world, There have been a few changes since and Yamaha continue to improve their guitars for the demands of the modern player.
For 2016 Yamaha have introduced new scalloped bracing for more volume, more projection, more low end & a bigger tone for the player. The new bracing moves the resonant centre much closer to the middle of the guitar, with a big impact on both the tone & feel of the guitar. Furthermore the FS-models get a shallower body (90-110mm) compared to the 700 series (100-120mm) for improved playability especially for beginners
