Rock-Solid Construction

In addition to the lightweight and resonant Solid Alder body, this awesome bass features a 5-piece Maple/Mahogany neck with a new, slightly thinner shape than the original BroadBass was equipped with.

Not only that, but the neck sports a 6-bolt Miter joint, which holds it closer and tighter to the body than a standard bolt-on joint would.

The end result is a superb bass that features the kind of playability, reliability, and natural tone than modern bass players crave.

Super Reliable Hardware

For the 400-series models, Yamaha BB basses are equipped with a Vintage Plus Light bridge which features "Diagonal Body Thru Stringing".

This particular stringing method reduces string stress, whilst actively increasing string vibration transferrence, for more reliability and efficiency.

Powerful And Articulate Pickups

Finally, the voice on this awesome electric bass is available courtesy of a powerful set of Custom V5 pickups - a Split Coil at the Middle position, and a Single Coil at the Bridge, both of which feature Alnico V magnets.
