Lightweight New Design
As mentioned above, the dual-cutaway body on this bass has been carved from lightweight Alder, which is renowned for producing smooth, deep bass tones with a thick midrange and sizzling high end.
This kind of body works perfectly when paired with the sleek bolt-on Maple neck, which has been designed for maximum levels of playability and feel - perfect for relative new comers to the instrument.

On top of the newly-refined body and neck, the BB234 features a range of high-quality appointments for extra-special sound, feel, and playability.
Thanks to the lightweight tuners, the bass is perfectly balanced, and doesn't fall victim to the dreaded neck dive that some basses with heavier tuners/headstocks are prone to. In addition to this, there's a 4-bolt plate which helps hold the neck onto the body, resulting in extra cut to the overall tone.
As a finishing touch, the vintage-style bridge and Urea nut work perfectly together to ensure superior tuning stability and maximum levels of string vibration transference.
Custom Ceramic Pickups
This excellent bass is equipped with a pair of powerful Custom V3 pickups - a J-style Single Coil at the bridge, and a P-style split coil in the middle.
This versatile combination is perfect for bassists who like to play a diverse range of musical styles, but demand a clear, well-defined sound at all times.
