The Yamaha A1R MK2 in Vintage Natural is a new and improved Electro-Acoustic for 2017.
Designed with the modern player in mind, the new range of guitars have an improved low and mids tone projection resulting in a full bodied sound. The neck has been altered slightly to have a matte finish making it feel nicer to play and the electronics have been upgraded for a clearer sound when amplified.
All in all the new Yamaha A1R MKII is a great workhorse guitar for those requiring an affordable instrument and the Vintage Natural finish give a classic acoustic guitar look.
Better Guitar, Better Price
The A1R has a Solid Sitka Spruce top whilst the back & sides are made from Rosewood giving it a rich and complex sound with solid low end and clear highs. The 3-ply African Mahogany neck has a matte finish on to improve the playability and is similar to the more expensive L-Series models.
The battery box has been moved to the jack pin to reduce the amount of holes in the instrument and improving overall tone and weight distribution across the guitar. Electronics are taken care with a SRT Piezo pick-up and a System 72 pre-amp with controls for 3 band EQ, mid frequency, Volume and tuner.
The Yamaha A-Series takes your acoustic performance to the next level with dynamic, natural amplified tone; a refined, powerful acoustic voice and outstanding playability.The whole range will soon be available to try out at your nearest PMT store.
