Great Craftsmanship
Defying its affordability, the WLO10SCE features fantastic construction made with top quality materials.
The solid Spruce top is properly cured, offering up great tone with cathedral peaked advanced scalloped-X bracing while Walnut binding gives you a beautiful touch of elegance.
For the back and sides, Washburn have opted for Mahogany. Already adding the guitar’s visual beauty, the Mahogany adds fantastic midrange to your tone and is known for its great balance and articulation.
A highly playable satin finished Mahogany neck is attached and holds an Ovangkol fretboard with 20 frets.
The inclusion of a cutaway allows for easy reach of the upper frets; perfect for lead guitar playing and adventurous licks.
Hardware and Strings
NuBone has been used for the nut and saddle while Ovangkol has been used for the bridge.
Derived from Graph Tech’s famous TUSQ material, NuBone is designed to deliver enhanced tone transfer and sustain to your guitar sound and does not dampen the sound like other nuts will.
Chrome diecast tuners look great while allowing for quick and easy tuning of your guitar strings, with the WLO10SCE coming ready-strung with D'Addario EXP Light Gauge Phosphor Bronze strings.
Performance Electronics
Thanks to the premium Fishman 301T Tuner and Preamp, the Washburn WLO10SCE is perfect for live performance.
So you can get the most of your live sound, the Fishman 301T features volume, bass and treble controls as well as a phase switch that allows you to eliminate feedback with performing live.
Furthermore, the built-in tuner is extremely convenient as you can tune up at any time without having to bring along a separate tuner.
