Featuring that classic design body style. The Grand Auditorium. A perfectly balanced shape that gives the best of all worlds.

Letting the Select Spruce Top with Flamed Maple Back and Sides mashes fantastically with this body shape. The Maple decays quite quickly so can be great for acoustic performances, cutting through the mix.

What's more, the cutaway design lets you reach for those notes higher up the fingerboard.

The Grand Auditorium body delivers a brightness of highs, mids and lows.

The quarter-sawn, scalloped bracing delivers more projection and makes the body sturdy and complete.

Completing the Washburn AG40CE is the superb gloss finish.

Easy Navigational Neck

This Washburn Acoustic comes with a slick Mahogany neck with an Engineered wood fingerboard. Perfect for navigating up and down the neck with ease and grace.

The headstock on the AG40CE features a flamed maple cap matching the acoustics Flamed back and sides. Attached are
Chrome Diecast with black buttons and a Custom Apprentice Rosette adorns the body.

Quality Pickup Installed

When you're ready to perform, the Washburn comes with a Barcus-Berry LX4 pickip and Pre-amp.

This allows you to plug into an acoustic amp or PA system.

Furthermore, the pickup system has an in-built tuner meaning wherever you are with your acoustic, you'll be able to tune up.
