Wampler The Paisley Drive Deluxe - Brad Paisley Signature, Two-Channel Overdrive Pedal

When a music star like Brad Paisley gets together with a boutique pedal maker such as Wampler you know that magic will ensue. In this case they took the original Paisley Drive and added a second circuit and channel: the fabulous Underdog (a personal favourite of Paisley's).

Warm and Creamy, Combined with Gritty and Dirty

Not only does the Paisley Drive give you independent access to both tones, but the pedal's design allows you to stack both circuits together in any order that you want, opening up a whole new harmonically rich range of tones to you. Whether you're looking to re-create Brad's signature guitar tone, or develop your own voice, the Wampler Paisley Drive Deluxe can help you get there.

Two In one

Combining the already-great Paisley Drive with the gritty Underdog works incredibly well. With Channel 1 you get the Underdog circuit running independently (with its own controls), and Channel 2 is the versatile, amp-like Paisley Drive. Run each channel as a standalone circuit, or choose to stack them in whatever order you want.

Signal Routing Capabilities

Today's modern musicians have embraced the use of external pedal switchers and MIDI-based rigs, so with this in mind Wampler have fitted the Paisley Deluxe with signal routing capabilities, which allows you to route each channel individually. With a simple stomp of the switcher you can operate either channel or a blend of both!

3-Way Toggle Switch

This "Stacked vs Separate" channel switching system is fairly straightforward to use, and corresponds directly to the top-mounted jack sockets on the pedal.

  • 2 > 1 Setting - this has both channels activated with the signal routed into first Channel 2, then Channel 1. In this setting your input cable needs to be in the "C2" input jack, with output cable in the "C1" output jack
  • 1 > 2 Setting - as with the above setting, both channels are "on", but the cables will need to be reversed (guitar input goes into "C1", output comes from "C2")
  • Separate Setting - this setting uses the Paisley Drive Deluxe as two individual pedals, each with its respective input and output jack

It's worth noting that your cables will need to be in the correct sockets based on the corresponding toggle switch setting, or the pedal will not work. However, don't worry if you get it wrong: your pedal won't be harmed!

Premium-Grade Construction

Wampler Pedals have a well-earned reputation for being of the highest quality, with attention being paid to every little detail at both the design and construction stages being paramount. Whether it's the top-mounted jack sockets or the impressively low-noise floor, there's a reason that Wampler are the "go to" pedal company for many of the world's top artists.
