Two Delay Circuits In One

To create the Ethereal, Wampler began with a pure-sounding delay with up to 1 second delay time, and added in a thick reverb effect, with the option of mixing them both together into a single glorious sound.

In addition to this, and lurking within the Ethereal's murky depths is a second delaythat can be layered over the top of the first for an array of incredible, ambient effects.

Whilst the first delay effect sits there like a heartbeat within your mix, constantly working at a steady pace, you can easily set up the second delay o nthe Ethereal to layver the the top into a triplet or dotted 8th pattern, or even a self-oscillating dotted eighth for when you want to get really crazy.

Plate Style Reverb

Sitting beneath those luscious delay effects you will find the pedal's gorgeous, plate-style reverb, that adds both character and shape to your sound, and which can be delivered at precisely the right level to compliment the delay.

Not only that, but the pedal is set up for you to be able to use it as either a stand alone delay, standalone reverb, or a luscious mixture of both - the choice is entirely yours!
