Each of the amp models within the VX50 GTV has been accurately recreated, even down to the characteristics of each individual component that would affect the sound of the original.

In addition to the range of amplifiers the VX50 GTV can model, there's also a "Line" option that can support both electric AND acoustic guitar!

NuTube Technology

Unlike it's little 15 watt counterpart, the VOX VX50 GTV comes equipped with a NuTube - a new-generation vacuum tube/valve that packs all of the characteristics of a traditional valve into a lightweight, high-tech component.

This technology can be found on a variety of the latest VOX products, and boasts the samd kind of distortion, sense of compression, response, and playing feel of a traditional valve.

On-Board Effects

Another addition to the VX50 GTV is a selection of eight different effects to choose from, split into two sections: Modulation and Delay/Reverb. You can run both effects types simultaneously, with each selection having four different effects to choose from.

There's even a Tap button for you to program perameters in (such as Delay Time, etc.).

High-Quality Construction

Designed to be both incredibly lightweight and feature incredible acoustic properties, the body of the VX50 GTV is just as important to the amp's sound as anything else. Its sealed ABS body helps to minimise unwanted vibration, eliminating sound loss and projecting your guitar's tone perfectly.

In addition to this, the bass-reflex structure of the chassis provides a great coverage of your low end frequencies, so you will feel no lack of power (unlike with other smaller amps).

USB Audio Interface

That's right: the VOX VX50 GTV comes complete with USB Audio Interface functionality. This means that you can hook this bad boy up to your computer via USB and record your playing.

And Then There's Tone Room Editor Software

USB connectivity means that you can't just record directly to your computer, you can also use the included Tone Room editor/librarian software package, designed to support the VX50 GTV.

This piece of software allows you to access/edit paramters within the amp that simply aren't accessible via the amp itself. These new settings can then be stored within the library.

Tone Room is not only supported by Mac/Windows, but also via iOS/Android, allowing you easy access on the fly - simply connect your device via USB, open up the app, and away you go!

But Wait, There's More!

Other fantastic functions on this amp include: an on-board tuner, AUX input, and even a headphone/line-out jack with built-in Cab Sim. Not only that, but there's also the option of plugging a VFS5 footswitch into the amp, allowing you to recall program memories on the fly. (footswitch sold separately)
