As you might expect, two and three string bends are made slightly more accessible to mere mortals thanks to the V58JDAB's uniquely flatter fingerboard, while the guitar's five-way selector switch proffers up new and exciting tones in the two pickup/single cutaway configuration, making this instrument an ideal choice for country, blues, jazz and all styles in between.Whether you're searching for your first guitar or your last, every member of the Vintage ReIssued Series is a keeper. V58 Features:
- Body:American Alder body provides resonance, tone and correct weight comfort, enhanced with correctly radiused contoured body.
- Bridge:The Wilkinson WTB intonatable bridge featured on the Vintage V58 is a masterpiece of design, eliminating age-old intonation problems often found in three saddle, fixed bridge designs.
- Pickups:2 Custom Designed Wilkinson WJTD Single Coils (N), Full Size, Alnico II (B) JD Spec, Alnico II.
- Controls:Single master Volume and Tone controls with custom wired five-way switch and circuitry.
- Machines Heads:Wilkinson WJ55S patented E-Z-Lok machine heads. Simple, effective locking action for increased tuning stability.
- Neck:One piece hard maple neck with instant comfort, speed, accuracy and great feel.
- Fingerboard:Maple fingerboard. Traditional 7 1/4"" radius fingerboard provides positive feel and superior playability.
- Scale Length:25.5"" / 648mm.
- Frets:22 Medium profile frets add to comfort, accuracy and overall positive feel of the Vintage V58.
- Nut:43mm Graphite nut, smooth and friction free.
- Headstock:Classic Vintage headstock design for balance and visual appeal.
