Vic Firth’s Drumstick Wax provides the option to add a tackier feel to your favourite sticks to help improve grip.
Improved Grip For Your Favourite Sticks
Although there are lots of sticks that come with specially formulated texture grips, such as the DoubleGlaze, the VicGrip and the PureGrit, these are limited to the most popular stick sizes.
So, if you don’t play a standard 5a or 5b you’re pretty stuck when it comes to factory applied grips.
That’s why Vic Firth have developed their VICWAX. It allows the ability to apply a tacky wax to your preferred sticks for an improved stick grip.
Therefore, if you use a signature series stick, a 7a, 2b or anything else you now have the option to apply your own grip finish.
25% Tackier
VICWAX has been specifically formulated to be 25% tackier than all other available waxes on the market to ensure an improved feel and secure stick grip.
Ideal for those who suffer from sweaty hands when playing or those who may find gripping lacquered sticks painful because of dry, cracking hands.
VicWax offers you the option to stick with your favourite sticks and improve their feel.
The grip wax comes in a compact container making it a convenient size to through into your stick bag so that it’s always at hand when you need it.

Plus, with factory applied grip finishes, you don’t have a say about how much grip coating you want.
This stick grip allows you to apply the wax to your desired amount. From slightly tacky to full-on sticky, it's up to you.
You’ll soon discover your desired feel, and will be able to customise your prefered wax amount.

Returns
If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.

- Special/Custom Orders - Any order that is custom or has been personalised.
- Products with Hygiene Seals - Microphones, any in-ear earphones, monitors, orchestral instruments with mouthpieces and any other items that touch your mouth, nose or inner ear if you have broken the hygienic seal on the packaging.
- Software & Media - Any software or media that has been opened or registered via physical or digital means.
- Any product containing a valve, e.g valve amps are only covered for 90 days from purchase.
