Introduced by Taylor in 1994 the 814e's Grand Auditorium body underlines the electro as the ultimate all-purpose acoustic. Offering a full low end matched with bold mids and crisp highs it really is an all-around deliverer.

The Solid Sitka Spruce Top balanced with the Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides offer a complete balance of tones.
The Sitka brings in a wide dynamic range with the support of Rosewood with its deep lows, and bell-like highs.
Soild Neck Construction
The Tropical Mahogany neck is comfortable and easily navigatable. While the ebony fretboard feels smooth for chord and single-note work.
Expression System 2
The Expression System 2 Pickup and Preamp combo allows a true representation of the Taylor electro-acoustic when plugged into a desk or acoustic amplifier. With little adjustments, you can make the Taylor sing with balance.
