Included in this all-Kapur, four-piece shell pack you'll find a bass drum, a floor tom and two hyper-drive toms - the new standard depth size on all of Tama's tom-toms. With a shorter depth, the attack is enhanced to deliver a punchier and more responsive sound. The more compact 'hyper-drive' shell promotes a more refined playing position, benefitting from their shallower depth for a more angled and direct approach to your playing.
Crafted from 6ply/5mm (7pl/6mm for the kick) Kapur, the robust hardwood is incredibly durable and dense, not only providing your shells with superior strength but also delivering a tone that is incredibly full-bodied and warm, with a certain distinguished fatness that would compliment so many genres of music, whether in the studio or on stage.

Kitted out with some of Tama's most high-tech solutions, you'll find high-quality craftsmanship in every aspect of these shells. Fitted with Tama's new Sound Arc Hoops, inspired by the renowned 'stick saver hoops' from vintage kits of old, the edges of the Sound Arc Hoops are designed to bend inwards - enhancing the natural tone of the drum and increasing precision, control and sensitivity.
Featuring Tama's patented Flexi-Mount system, the toms are mounted using a two-piece structure that allows for some play when striking the drum - controlling the shells vibrations whilst still allowing it to resonate freely drastically improves both the sustain and decay of the shells, delivering an incredibly transparent sound that allows rooms for the Kapur's characteristics to really shine.
