The Tama Club-Jam Compact Drum Kit w/ Hardware, Cream Marble is a high-quality drum kit from Tama, taking inspiration from vintage kits and developing it to bring vintage sound and aesthetics into the modern day. The shells are constructed from a rarely found mersawa and poplar hybrid, offering a unique deep, focused warmth that other tonewoods, such as maple, cannot match. The shells are sized in a compact yet powerful configuration, with an uncommon 14" x 7" floor tom, keeping the kit's overall sound in the high frequencies, giving it plenty of pop and kick.
The vintage looks are thanks to the bass-mounted cymbal holder, which not only adds to the kit's vintage feel but also saves space and ensures the stability of your cymbal. The curved bass drum spurs ensure that the vintage feel does not go unnoticed. The kit also includes a full set of hardware, including a hi-hat stand, a snare stand, a bass-mounted cymbal holder, a bass drum pedal, and a throne, making the kit incredible value for money.
Shell Construction
Tama has used Mersawa and Poplar to form the 6-ply shells, Mersawa is a softer wood giving the drums a real deep, dark, warm tone, and then relies on Poplar, a much harder wood, for the projection, clarity, and volume qualities it brings.
