Seat Lock

Another patented feature of the Tama Wide Rider is the seat lock design.

This attribute uses a 2-piece locking hinge collar mechanism to provide a superior throne to base connection.

This 2-piece system provides 360 degrees of pressure around the throne rod to ensure a super tight, extremely secure connection between the seat top and the throne base.

Super Stabiliser Design

The Wide Rider Trio drum throne features a super stabiliser design which sees a reduction in the distance between the centre throne pipe and the floor.

Additionally, stability is added to the stool thanks to the lengthened tripod leg stabiliser bars which work to create a stronger more robust frame design.

The double braced tripod legs also add yet another layer of stability, utilising a design that doesn’t taper at the point at which the legs insert into the rubber feet. The tapered design, which is extremely common on drum stools, can lead to a weaken set up, which Tama have sought to avoid with this non-tapered idea.

1st Chair Height Adjustment

The height adjustment design of this Tama Wide Rider Trio drum stool features two different securing points.

Firstly, the threaded rod throne ensures a secure height adjustment setting is achieved to make sure you select your optimum playing position.

The T-bolt system then works to securely lock the adjusted height in place to provide a solid, reliable playing position that you can trust to remain consistent while you play.

Oversized Rubber Feet and Foot Life

At 1.5 times larger than previous Tama stool feet, the oversized rubber feet found on the Tama Wide Rider provide an extra-large footprint that allows for optimised stability and a secure stool placement.

This feature includes an innovative plastic leg attachment which eliminates the wear and tear that can occur from metal to metal contact between the base leg and the inside of the foot.

RockLok

The specially designed RockLok system of this stool features a nylon bushing at the bottom of the threaded rod to provide a much more secure stool centre.
