Strymon took a long hard look at their favourite analogue effects (plus one lush digital studio verb) and squeezed them into the Strymon Flint - combining a range of classic trems and verb sounds with the convenience of a single compact stomp box to deliver everything from retro garage twang to modern indie textures to vintage blues - there's just no shortage of inspiration.
The second generation is here and it means business - maintaining all of the same pulsating character from the original, this V2 model of Strymons' vintage-vibe-in-a-box incorporates a vast range of new features and performance enhancements to keep you doing what you do best!
No matter if it was tubes, light dependent resistors or a whacking great spring that made the hardware sound special, Strymon have studied the electrical and physical components then hand crafted their digital algorithms to make them readily available to you in the Flint thanks largely to the in-built SHARC DSP.
Featuring accurate recreations - even down to the unique behaviour and characteristics - of a '61 harmonic tremolo, '63 power tube tremolo, '65 photocell tremolo, '60s spring tank reverb, '70s electronic plate reverb, and even an '80s hall rack reverb - as well as bags of parameters to tweak - the Strymon Flint is easilly one of the most versatile and feature-laden Tremolo/Reverb pedals on the market!
Strymon Flint V2 New Features:
Full MIDI Implementation - You can now control just about every single parameter remotely with MIDI commands from your controller or DAW via the MIDI Jack or USB-C connection, complete with MIDI Clock Sync and 300 MIDI preset locations - perfect for the performance perfectionist who knows what they want and when they want it!
Expanded Controls - With an expanded speed knob range for an ultra-slow (1Hz) tremolo and an all-new reverb pre-delay parameter, you've got more tone shaping options than ever before!
Improved Hardware - With a newly improved premium analog JFET input circuit, complete with mono or stereo input switch, you've now got even better responsiveness for your playing. Reinforced with a brand new ARM DSP chip, you've got more processing power on-tap, producing greater sonic nuance and consuming less pedalboard energy overall - it's a win/win situation!
