As a company, Squier was procured by Fender in the mid 1960s to manufacture guitar strings for them. Cut to 1982 when Fender reactivated the brand name, and used them to produce more-affordable versions of their best-selling guitars, which they continue to do so to this day!

Squier guitars are renowned for offering aspiring musicians the chance to own a decent Stratocaster or Telecaster for a low price. While these guitars are much more affordable than their Fender counterparts, that doesn't mean for one second that they compromise on quality.

Comfortable Body Design

The Stratocaster has always been known for its comfortable curved body. This guitar is designed to sit comfortably up against you when you play, making it equally easy to play sitting down or standing up.

To further compliment this, the guitar has a "C"-shaped neck profile (cross-section view of the neck). "C"-shaped necks sit comfortably in your hand whilst you play, and give you easy access to every fret across the entire fingerboard.

Fender Frontman 15G

Perfectly suitable to your needs as a beginner, the Fender Frontman 15G makes an ideal companion to the Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster.
