The SPL TDX is a 500 Series adaptation of the iconic Transient Designer, known for its powerful sound-shaping capabilities.
The SPL TDx 500 Series Transient Designer follows the same principle as the original, offering intuitive controls to enhance or reduce the attack and sustain of audio signals, providing added punch and depth to the sound. With SPL's Differential Envelope Technology, the TDx precisely calculates the differences in generated envelopes, continuously tracking the original signal's curve for truly musical performance.
This 500 Series version introduces a new mix control, allowing you to smoothly blend between the processed and original signals, providing even more control over the desired effect.
Whether it's adding impact and presence to drums, enhancing the ambience of a snare drum or room, or giving a bass guitar more edge or sustain when played staccato, the Transient Designer has long been at the forefront of shaping modern drum sounds and various other musical applications.

Returns
If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
*Please note, we cannot accept returns of:
- Special/Custom Orders - Any order that is custom or has been personalised.
- Products with Hygiene Seals - Microphones, any in-ear earphones, monitors, orchestral instruments with mouthpieces and any other items that touch your mouth, nose or inner ear if you have broken the hygienic seal on the packaging.
- Software & Media - Any software or media that has been opened or registered via physical or digital means.
- Any product containing a valve, e.g valve amps are only covered for 90 days from purchase.
