The SPL MTC Mk2 represents an advanced studio monitor and talkback controller solution, surpassing its highly acclaimed predecessor, the Mk1, with multiple enhancements.

The MTC Mk2 offers versatile configuration options for its three stereo outputs or single mono output, allowing for the creation of output groups tailored to various studio listening setups and preferences. Additionally, the mono or 'SUB' output can be utilised to connect a monoblock reference speaker, such as a MixCube, facilitating comparative mixing tasks.

In addition to the standard stereo, mono, and phase-reversed listening modes, the second-generation MTC introduces the LR SWAP mode. This unique feature enables the easy switching of left and right channels, providing a valuable tool for users working with sound design or film audio, where altering the direction of movement may be required.

The MTC Mk2 boasts powerful headphone outputs that now incorporate SPL's renowned Phonitor Matrix technology. This technology creates a distinctive crossfade environment for mix engineers when working with headphones. By virtually adjusting the angle of left and right projection, the MTC Mk2 replicates the experience of working with monitor speakers. This ensures that mixes completed on headphones are fully translatable when transferred between different portable and permanent listening systems.
