Introducing the SPL Mercury, a pristine stereo digital-to-analogue converter meticulously designed to cater specifically to the exacting demands of mastering applications. Powered by SPL's renowned 120V technology, Mercury strives not only to meet but surpass the technological and tonal benchmarks set by discerning mastering houses.

Mercury offers a comprehensive range of I/O options, encompassing seven different digital inputs, including AES, SPDIF, TOSLINK, and USB. The conversion process is expertly handled by AKM's esteemed Velvet Sound chip technology, capable of supporting resolutions of up to 768kHz at 32-bit, as well as Direct Stream Digital up to DSD4.

Setting a new standard in DA mastering converters, Mercury proudly incorporates SPL's proprietary 120V technology, featuring the notable inclusion of DLP120: dual low-pass filters in 120V tech. This innovative configuration significantly enhances dynamic range and headroom, while each filter is meticulously optimized for PCM and DSD playback standards.

Furthermore, Mercury boasts two sets of analogue stereo outputs on the rear panel, catering to monitoring and routing requirements. One set can be calibrated to all major reference levels (14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 dBu @ 0dBFS), ensuring precise and accurate monitoring capabilities. The other set is analogue controllable, providing engineers with an invaluable tool for live monitor volume control without compromising the bit depth of the audio signal.

Mercury stands as a testament to SPL's unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of digital-to-analogue conversion. With its unrivalled sonic performance, cutting-edge technology, and meticulous attention to detail, Mercury sets a new benchmark for mastering-grade converters, empowering mastering engineers to achieve unparalleled levels of precision, clarity, and sonic brilliance in their craft.
