The shells of this compact 4-piece shell pack are constructed from 7 plies of maple to deliver brilliantly versatile, all-purpose tone.
The 7 plies consist of a combination of 4 plies of Canadian maple and 3 plies of Chinese maple to give it a unique balance of characterful tone.
Maple is known for it’s even amounts of highs and mids, as well as its beautifully warm low-end response.

The Sonor Martini kit is adorned with newly designed shell hardware, created to provide optimal functionality without impeding drum resonance.
The new Sonor SmartMount system provides secure and stable tom placement without detrimentally affecting the resonance of the rack tom.
The tom mount has been specifically designed to have minimal contact with the drum shell in order to ensure the tom is able to deliver unimpeded sustain.
Quintessentially German, the Sonor designed and engineered SmartMount was made to be minimalistic yet functional.
The Martini drum kit also comes complete with a tom / cymbal holder which mounts from the bass drum to provide convenient and space saving positioning of your rack tom and ride cymbal.
The fittings and finishes of the AQ2 drums are consistent across the range, which serves to provide great flexibility and compatibility across the whole drum series.
