The Sigma BMC-15E is a jumbo-size, all-mahogany acoustic bass, great for playing both unplugged or through an amp thanks to the built in Fishman preamp.
Acoustic bass guitars are unique instruments and a great addition to any bass player's arsenal. The Sigma BMC-15 Acoustic bass has an organic, earthier sound, offering tones that approach upright bass territory.
Quality Build
The Sigma BME+ features a solid sitka spruce top that will only sound better with age. Its stunning sitka spruce top projects an articulate tone with a broad dynamic range. The solid top is also favoured for its versatile response. Achieve numerous genres and techniques with ease, from lighter fingerpicking styles, to heavier more aggressive strumming patterns. Furthermore, the solid top is paired with mahogany back and sides, adding a distinct mellow warmth with plenty of resonance. Additionally, used as back and side panels, the mahogany delivers a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth and complexity.

Ideal for the gigging or recording player. This affordable instrument comes equipped with a Sigma preamp system, ideal for the stage or studio. Sigma's preamp allows you to tweak your amplified tone and features slide controls for bass, middle, and treble with a rotary control for volume. Furthermore, the preamp also has a built-in tuner, providing quick, precise and easy tuning on the go - whether performing acoustically or amplified.
