The SRH940 reference headphones utilise 40mm Neodymium dynamic drivers to deliver accurate response across the entire audio spectrum. The SRH940 headphones do not overly emphasise any particularly frequency range giving you a flat response and accurate results; critical for studio work.

Shure know that when you’re in the studio you don’t just need high quality audio; you also require extreme comfort. The Shure SRH940 headphones have a lightweight design with an ergonomic fit while the padded headband provides maximum comfort – perfect for extended periods in the studio. The SRH940 reference headphones also have a collapsible design with 90-degree swivel ear cups making for convenient storage and superior portability.
Accessories
The SRH940 studio headphones come packaged with a host of accessories to ensure you get the most of your listening experiences. A gold-plated, ¼” jack adapter opens allows you to connect to a greater number of devices and equipment than the standard 1/8” connector, a straight cable and a coiled cable are packaged for further personalisation and replacement velour ear pads are included should you require them down the line.
Also with the SRH940 headphones, Shure have provided a zippered hard-case so that when your listening session is complete you can pack your SRH940s away safe in the knowledge that they’re protected whether you’re putting them back into storage or taking them on the road.
