The Beta 98H/C condenser microphone is a versatile acoustic microphone for brass or percussion instruments. It's simple, clip-on design with integrated gooseneck means it is versatile enough to be clamped onto most acoustic instruments for high-quality, noise-free response thanks to a tailored pick-up pattern which eliminates feedback. It's subtle design allows you to amplify your signal at the highest quality without being too cumbersome or visible.

Long-Lasting Battery Use

The BLX1 bodypack allows for up to 14 hours continuous use, thanks to 2 x included AA Batteries. Adjustable gain control allows for the user to quickly make adjustments to their volume on-stage without shouting at the sound engineer, and is designed to modestly clip onto a belt or clothing for operation.

Crystal-Clear Audio

Shure's proprietary Automatic Frequency Management quickly identifies the best open channels via the BLX4 wireless receiver. 2.4 GHz frequency band allows operation of up to 8 compatible systems simultaneously, depending on manual or automatic operation mode. XLR and 6.3mm jack output connectors allow for easy connection to your mixing desk or PA, and works up to 60 metres away from the BLX1 to deliver crystal-clear audio every time.
