Seymour Duncan captured that great tone from the definitive 60s era, but without all the noise. This pickup is one of our most popular, and with good reason. It has everything a Jazz bass pickup should presence without being bitter, smooth response, and a classic low end bump. It captures the same great tone as our Vintage Jazz Bass single coil, but without the annoying 60-cycle hum. Combine with the slightly overwound Classic Stack Jazz Bass bridge pickup for a perfectly matched set.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Classic Stack for Jazz Bass uses alnico 5 rod magnets, Forbon flatwork, 4-conductor leadwire, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation
