Innovative Seymour Duncan Design Breakthrough
Boasting an innovative new approach to active humbucker design - the experienced engineers at Seymour Duncan have established a way to capture all the tonal benefits of an active design whilst still using a balanced input.
In other words, a 'standard' active humbucker used unbalanced inputs in a differential preamp and often struggle to cancel hum as a result, whereas the innovative Blackouts boast 12dB-14dB less noise and a wider dynamic range through their use of balanced inputs - giving you more highs, more lows and less noise - it's a winning combination.
