Showcasing a slick, thinned-down construction, the sE8 has been designed to ensure that your sound source's signal will never too harsh due to the elite SPL handling and boundless dynamic range. One of the finest features of the sE8 Condenser is the pad switch, which is incredibly useful when recording loud instruments that are coming in too hot. Simply use the -10dB or -20dB settings to achieve a more audibly useful level, so you never have anything less than premium quality!
Not only that but the condenser mic also provides a highly practical lo-cut/hi-pass switch filter option, allowing you to apply an 80Hz or 160Hz low-cut to reduce the level of proximity effect. Ideal for when the mic is placed too close to the sound source!
