EMG Retro Active Pickups
Fully-loaded with an EMG Retro Active Humbucker in the Bridge position, and two Single Coils set in the Neck and Middle positions, the Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder III gains all the benefits usually associated with active pickups, but with the feel and dynamic response of vintage-style passive pickups.
This balance between Single and Dual Coil pickups offers you a huge range of tones to choose from, varying your sound between classic rock, blues, and even heavy metal, but thanks to the built-in FET preamp with low-impedance output, you get the sound absent any unwanted 60-cycle hum.
Crafting Expertise
In using a tonewood combination of solid mahogany for the back piece, with a carved quilted maple top, the Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder III offers a naturally well-balanced tone, with a wide variety of sonic possibilities, making it ideal for the modern-day player.
