When designing the Omen Extreme-6, Schecter wanted to make sure that this guitar would just scream metal and hard rock; both through it’s incredible tone and awesome good looks, while being nicely playable so you’ll have no issues playing those fast and demanding pieces.

Beautiful Craftsmanship

Making up the body of the Omen Extreme-6 FR, Mahogany has been used, featuring Crème multi-ply binding which protects the edges of the guitar while also adding an extra touch of class and visual appeal.

Bolt-on construction sees the joining of a Maple neck to the body. It has a nicely playable thin ‘C’ profile and features 24 X-jumbo size frets.

The fretboard itself is made of Rosewood and features awesome looking Vector shaped inlays made of abalone and pearloid.

Genuine Floyd Rose Special hardware is used at the nut and bridge. With a Floyd Rose Special tremolo installed, you can go for some deep, expressive whammy bar action while the Floyd Rose Special nut locks your strings perfectly in tune and aligned.

For a further boost to the incredible aesthetic of the Omen Extreme-6, the top is a carved arched top of Quilted Maple which shows through the See-Thru Black finish gorgeously.

Awesome Electronics

Of course, when it comes to Schecter and as beautiful as the Omen Extreme-6 may be; it’s not just about the visual presence. Giving the Omen Extreme-6 its incredible, hard rock sound are two Schecter Diamond Plus pickups.

Found in both the bridge and neck pickup positions, Schecter Diamond Plus pickups are high quality humbucker style pickups which accurately reproduce your playing style and the tone of your strings while eliminating hum and interference so you get a pure tone.

A three-way pickup selector switch allows you to toggle between the pickups; the neck pick up, the bridge pickup or a combination of both.

Two metal knurled volume knobs allow you to adjust the overall volume from each of the pickups while a Push-Pull knob allows you to customise the tone.
