The Schecter KM-7 MK-III Artist electric guitar, meticulously designed to meet Keith Merrow's exacting standards, seamlessly combines innovative design and premium components. Crafted with a resonant swamp ash body and an eye-catching poplar burl top, this guitar delivers a dynamic and expressive tone. The custom-voiced Lundgren M7 humbucking pickups provide exceptional clarity and a powerful punch, offering the richness of active pickups without the need for batteries.
The KM-7 MK-III features a neck-through design, ensuring excellent sustain and effortless access to upper frets. The 9-piece maple, wenge, and purpleheart neck, coupled with an extra-thin C profile and a 26.5" extended scale length, results in a fast and smooth playing experience. The compound radius fingerboard allows for easy navigation, while the contoured rear and ergonomic neck shape enhance comfort during both seated and standing play.
This signature model provides precise tonal control with a master volume, pickup toggle, and coil-split options, allowing players to seamlessly transition from searing leads to rhythmic crunch. The guitar's construction includes a Hipshot bridge and locking tuners, ensuring rock-solid intonation, tuning stability, and sustained performance. The luminlay side dots enhance visibility on dimly lit stages.
