Premium-Quality Construction
For the body on the Hellraiser C-7, Schecter opted for the classic tonewood pairing of solid Mahogany for the back piece, and Quilted Maple for the top.
These woods not only help produce a combination of rich, thick tones with plenty of high-end snap, the wood grain of the Quilt Maple top also gives the guitar its unique visage, and works perfectly with the Black Cherry finish.
In addition to this, the Mahogany neck has been carved with a Thin "C" profile, and combines with the bound Rosewood fingerboard to offer a supper-slick playing experience, with your fingers liberally gliding over each and every note with ease.
Powerful Electronics
Powering the voice on this guitar you'll find a pair of EMG 707TW humbuckers - sitting at the neck and bridge positions - and active electronics.
These pickups are specially-designed to accommodate 7-stringed guitars and eliminate the issues raised by muddy-sounding Low B strings on other instruments, with rich harmonic character and definition.
In addition to this, these pickups feature a stacked single coil options - activated by the push/pull Tone control pot - and will allow you to produce tones ranging from the lightest of melodies, to the heaviest of chugs.
