High Quality Construction
As with their other C-5 Bass guitars, Schecter have crafted this Silver Mountain model with plenty of girth and grit, with its dual-cutaway body being carved from solid Mahogany.
In addition to this, the bass has been equipped with rock-solid Schecter hardware throughout along with a set of Grover Tuners, ensuring incredible levels of stability accross the board.
Exquisite Electronics
Powering the voice on this bass is a pair of full-throttle Fishman Fluence active bass pickups, giving you access to tones to match the C-5's aggressive looks.
These pickups are widely regarded as the gold-standard for many contemporary players, and can be voiced to suit pretty much any situation.
In addition to the active 3-band EQ tone stack, the Master Volume control features a Push/Pull Coil Split function, for when you need an altogether more articulate and crisp sound.
In addition to this, the 3-way Voicing switch allows you to choose between "Classic", "Funk", and "Modern", giving you access to a huge spectrum of tones.
Effortlessly Playable
As with other C-5 bass guitars, this Silver Mountain model has been equipped with a super-slick and reliable neck, which has been reinforced with Carbon Fibre rods, and carved with a Thin "C" profile shape.
In addition to this, the neck has been capped with a silky-smooth Ebony fingerboard, that allows your hand to liberally glide up and down the frets with ease, whilst the longer 35" Scale Lengths provides more accurate intonation on the Low B string.
The end result is a neck that's perfect for speedy and accurate playing styles, which lends itself well to all manner of modern rock and metal genres.
