Precision Designed for Metal Performance
Making it easy to wield this formidable axe, the body of the Schecter Banshee Mach-6 FR S is made from naturally light weight swamp ash.
It is topped with flamed maple which offers an awesome aesthetic through the great looking "Fallout Burst" finish.
Thanks to the Ultra Access neck heel and the body's deep horned double cutaway shape, you get easy reach of the higher frets; perfect for shredding.
Neck-through construction along with carbon fibre reinforcement rods ensures the roasted maple and purpleheart multi-ply neck is incredibly stable.
The neck has Ultra Thin "U" shape which is ideal for lightning fast shredding.
A 12" - 16" compound radius ebony fretboard gives you the optimum playing surface wherever your fretting hand takes the performance.
Perfect for the heavier gauge strings required for drop tunings and heavy music, while facilitating deep, easy bends, the fretboard holds 24 x-Jumbo frets.
Made from stainless steel, these frets will provide you with years upon years of reliable performance.
Guiding the way in any situation while adding awesome style, the fretboard is ordained with Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots along with offset and reverse Roman numeral inlays.
Powerful Electronics
A fantastic set of electronics is the driving factor behind the Schecter Banshee Mach-6 FR S's incredible sound.
Acting as the bridge pickup is a Lundgren M6 humbucker providing great power and clarity which is fantastic for playing in lower tunings while also working great in standard tuning.
In the neck position, you'll find a Sustainiac.
As the name suggests, the Sustainiac is far more than a simple pickup. When switched off, it acts as a great sounding active pickup. When switched on, the Sustainiac acts as a magnetic string driver.
Once activated, the Sustainiac gives you endless, controlled feedback sustain which you can use however you want.
A series of easy-to-use controls allow you to get the most of the Schecter Banshee Mach-6 FR S electronics.
You have straight forward volume and tone controls for quick sound shaping. There's also a 3-way pickup switch that allows you to choose between using either pickup individually or both at once.
The Sustainiac also has its own dedicated controls including an on-off switch and a 3-way control to select between the Susainiac's trio of different modes.
High Quality Hardware
Up on the headstock of the Schecter Banshee Mach-6 FR S is a set of Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuning machines.
These tuners offer incredibly precise tuning with their fantastic turning ratio.
Working together to offer superior tuning stability are a Floyd Rose 1500 series nut and bridge combination.
Not only that, the Floyd Rose bridge provides incredible, dynamic tremolo performance along with enhanced sustain and precise intonation across all strings.
