The Sabian HHX 18" Legacy Crash Cymbal, Natural Finish is a highly responsive cymbal, delivering dark tones at any volume whilst remaining musical and adept. With a thin weight, the Legacy Crash is tonally complex and provides the loudest of dark tones, dominating any mix without being overbearing. With the extreme responses of the Legacy Crash, you can move your sound across the dynamic range, whether you want to be standing out in the mix or playing quiet backing tones. The 18" diameter projects darkness with low-end responses because of the innovative 'Tone Projection' feature, allowing you to play in a range of styles.

Bronzo Sheild

The HHX Cymbal series features B20 bronze construction. This type of bronze is mainly made up of copper and tin and has a reputation for being difficult to work with. However, the expert craftsmanship at Sabian continually produces cymbals that provide versatile style to suit genres ranging from blues to rock. The in-house manufacturing allows Sabian to create a specific, unique design and to help drummers find their ideal sound.

In Use

Here we have a cymbal from one of Sabian's most favourable series, the hand-guided lathing and hammering is what makes this line so desirable. The sounds are dark with rich tones that cut right through the music.

The HHX Legacy series is now filtering through to the heavier/metal drummers as they find that the dark tones suit their music tastes just as much as the 'Jazzers' amongst them.

All HHX series cymbals are complete with HHX 'Tone Projection'. This innovative concept combines jumbo 'tone projection' hammering and other design elements resulting in hot, simmering sounds that can project through.
