The V71 is the deepest and most advanced sound module we’ve ever produced. The famous hands-on V-Drums workflow remains, but everything else has been overhauled, rebuilt, and refreshed. Ultra-powerful DSP and greatly expanded waveform memory unlock a universe of creative expression never before possible. Preset changes, sound edits, and mix adjustments are smoother and faster than ever, thanks to the vivid color display, updated workflow features, tactile controls, and ergonomic panel layout.

Sometimes, you need specific sounds to support an artist on tour. Or maybe you rely on a personal sample collection to reinforce your acoustic drums in studio productions. The module’s sample import function makes it easy to customize your palette and build any sound you can imagine. Each pad assignment provides three layers that can include any combination of internal sounds or external samples.

All the built-in sounds and V-Drums Instrument Expansions come finely tuned and ready to play, with no adjustment necessary. The V71 rear panel offers balanced outputs for professional audio connections, including XLR and 1/4-inch stereo main outputs and eight 1/4-inch direct outputs. Three high-speed trigger inputs support our advanced digital pads, while 14 analog trigger inputs offer full compatibility with standard V-Pads. The PD-14DSX takes our digital snare technology to a new level of acoustic realism and playing comfort. The softest articulations are translated in astonishing detail, and hand position is automatically detected for seamless transitions between headshots, rimshots, and cross-stick playing. A throw-off mechanism turns the snares on or off with the flip of a lever, while a knurled strainer knob lets you dial in snare tension with a twist. The knob also doubles as a push control for easy operation of different module functions.

The VH-14D is a true game changer, bringing unparalleled touch sensitivity, tonal variation, and open/closed resolution to electronic hi-hats. The top/bottom cymbal design provides a familiar look and feel, while the high-res detection system captures stick articulations and footwork in flawless detail.

With its standard size, familiar motion, and ultra-detailed response, the CY-18DR will inspire the most expressive ride players. The high-resolution, multi-sensor system detects every stroke from edge to bell for precision dynamics and response. Each pad also includes the KDP-5, a replaceable patch that slows wear and allows you to use a plastic, wood, or felt beater.

The flagship TD716 kit includes the newly developed 10-inch PD-10X and 12-inch PD-12X tom pads.
