The highly versatile Roland V-4EX hosts an array of unique features that make it suitable for many different applications, ranging from clubs, concerts, worship, events, meetings, training sessions, weddings, education events, and sporting occasions. This sleek and compact video mixer can be used as part of a permanent installation, or for when portability is the key (such as on-location recording/broadcasting).

Premium Grade Features

The impressive UI on the Roland V-4EX incorporates a range of dial controls to accurately tweek the array of powerful in-built video effects on each bus and master output dial. Additionally, the innovative design comes complete with a video switcher, audio embedding options, a preview monitor, and a streaming-ready USB output: all housed in this compact little unit.

As a new feature, the V-4EX features three composite (BNC) or HDMI input options, whilst input #4 accepts HDMI, RGB/Component or even S-Video. Then there's the output, which features scaled-up HDMI, RGB/component, or SD composite with another HDMI output for an external preview monitor.

Webstreaming and Video Recording

The RCA audio input allows you to embed audio into both the HDMI outputs and USB stream, making the V-4EX great for webstreaming and recording applications. Simply connect your V-4EX to a Mac or PC via USB cable, run the live streaming service on the computer and away you go! As an added bonus, Roland's free Video Capture for Windows software (or Quicktime, if you use a Mac) can be used to record the output directly to your device.
