Authentic Playing Feel with New, Wider Kick Pad

Making use of Roland’s own dual-triggering technology, the compact 8” PDX-8 snare pad and 6.5” PDX-6 mesh-head V-Pads on the TD-1KPX2 have incredibly precise sensing between the head and rim.

For enhanced realism and tonal options, the PDX-8 snare pad’s rim area expands the pad diameter to 10” so you can perform quiet and comfortable rim shots.

CY-5 cymbal pads are in place for cymbals and hi-hat, providing 10” playing surfaces with swinging movement to get that realistic natural response and playing feel.

Further increasing the realistic playing experience, the cymbals have separate bow and edge triggering and support chokes with the hi-hats delivering realistic, smooth tonal transitions between being open and closed.

Really setting the TD-1KPX2 apart from its predecessor is its new, wider kick pad. Wide enough to accommodate two side-by-side beaters, you can use your favourite double kick pedal to perform some awesome double-kick patterns.

USB-MIDI Interface

Built into the TD-1KPX2’s sound module is a USB-MIDI interface, giving you nigh on limitless potential with this awesome electronic drum kit.

By connecting the TD-1KPX2 to your computer using a USB cable you have all sorts of options.

For example; you can use transfer any recordings you make on the module, record your live drum performance directly onto your computer or use it in conjunction with your favourite DAW or other music software for triggering samples or even composing.
