Import your own sounds and slot into any instrument setup

An extremely useful feature within the Roland SPD::ONE PERCUSSION is the ability to import your own sounds. All you have to do is hook up your unit to your Mac or PC via the USB connection and drag and drop any of your own original audio into any of the 12 internal sound banks available. This means you have the option to extend your percussion offering to a whopping 34 sounds. Simply import your WAV audio files up to 5 seconds in length and enjoy the ability to modify them via the tuning and effect control knobs on the unit, the same as you would with the preloaded sounds.

The Roland SPD::ONE PERCUSSION has been designed to fit into your existing instrument setup and workflow with ease. Simply attach your unit to any hi-hat, cymbal, or tom stand with rod diameters between 8.0-12.7 mm and you’re all set. The Roland SPD::ONE PERCUSSION can also attach to a mic stand or even placed on the floor, table top or flat surface for stomping on!

In addition, the Roland SPD::ONE PERCUSSION can also be used as a compact digital pad controller for your computer DAW via the built-in USB-MIDI support. This means you can play any of your software sounds within your preffered DAW and take complete control over your MIDI percussion tracks.
