The Remo Emperor Vintage Coated 12" Drum Head is a coated 2-ply drum head that offers enhanced mid to low frequencies with powerful projection. Featuring 2 plies of 7.5-mil film, the Vintage Emperor heads are the strongest and most durable 2-ply heads on the market that also reduce overtones and sustain compared to single ply.
With Remo's infused coating technology, the finish adds a more subtle attack. Still with great projection in live scenarios, these heads provide the perfect tonal profile to fill in the gaps between your snare and kick.
A soft under-stick feel and pronounced tone is thanks to Remo's Free-Floating Bending Technology, letting the two plied resonate together, providing more tone and sustain that other 2-ply heads; this is where the vintage tone comes from. Modern durability meets vintage tone
