Radial J48 Active Phantom Powered DI Box Key Features:
Exceptional Headroom & Dynamic Range - Utilizing a unique switching power supply that raises the internal rail voltage, the J48 can can handle up to an incredible 9 Volts, resulting in improved signal handling and greater headroom. Natural, Uncoloured Sound - A biproduct of the premium components, enjoy a distortion-free, colour-free signal. 48V Phantom Powered - No batteries required, just apply +48V phantom power on your hardware. 15dB Pad Button - Reduce the input sensitivity for active basses and high output keyboards at the flick of a switch. 48V Check - Flashes once when the 80Hz filter is depressed to confirm 48V phantom power is present. Merge Button - Handy for changing stereo input/thru-puts to mono at the XLR. 1/4" Input - Designed to accomodate any standard 'guitar cable' input. 1/4" Thru-Put - Offering a throughput from the J48 to the amp, the hi impedance will not load the instrument down. XLR Output - This balanced 600ohm mic level output cam be used to feed a mixer or microphone preamp. Polarity Switch - Ideal for reversing polarity 180 degrees, correct the phase on older gear or reduce feedback on stage. Low Cut Switch - Add an 80Hz high pass filter to clean up the bottom end of the signal and reduce and resonant feedback. Ground Lift Switch - Activate to disconnect the ground from the audio signal path and eliminate any hum or buzz that a ground loop has introduced.
