PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo, Peacock Blue Smokeburst Highlights

  • Beveled Maple Top and Back pieces with Flame Maple veneers, and Mahogany sides
  • Gorgeous Peacock Blue Smokeburst finish
  • Cream binding to the body, neck, headstock, and "F"-holes
  • Solid Mahogany neck, with a Wide Fat profile shape, and an Ebony fingerboard
  • "Old School" PRS Bird fret markers
  • Two 58/15 "S" humbuckers deliver an incredible tone
  • Adjustable Stoptail Piezo bridge
  • Includes PRS Hardshell Case

Premium-Grade Construction

As with the Core lineup model, the PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo is crafted with both a Top and Back piece of 5-ply laminated maple, both with flamed maple veneers, and mahogany side-panels.

Because of these construction materials you get a guitar which delivers a bright, punchy and resonant natural tone, further enhanced by the set-in Wide Fat Mahogany neck.

In addition to this, the neck's shape and thickness gives added warmth to your voice, and offers increased natural sustain too.

Clarity And Balance

Thanks to the inclusion of a set of 58/15 "S" humbuckers complimenting the guitar's natural tone and resonance.

These pickups offer the kind of big sound that's perfect for a hollowbody, and offer incredible levels of clarity whether played through a clean channel or with crunchy overdrive.

Piezo Bridge Pickup

You will also find an LR Baggs/PRS-designed piezo pickup situated within the guitar's bridge.

This will add a whole new dimension to your playing when activated, giving a more acoustic voice that can be used independently, or alongside those awesome 58/15 "S" humbuckers.

To make the most out of this pickup, there's also the addition of an extra output socket, allowing you to send the Piezo signal through an acoustic amp/soundboard, whilst the magnetic pickups are sent to a standard guitar amp.

What you end up with is, without a doubt, the most versatile PRS SE guitar since the Series' inception, almost two decades ago.

PRS Student Edition

First introduced in the year 2000, the PRS SE lineup was specially designed to offer classic PRS designs at a budget-friendly price-point when compared to their illustrious Core series.

In the two-decades since the reputation of PRS SE (or Student Edition) instruments has increased to encompass a wide range of guitars and basses, introducing PRS style and class to aspiring professionals the world over.
