High Quality, Yet Affordable
With the PRS SE A50EBG we have an Angelus series acoustic guitar - a Grand Concert body style with a soft cutaway - that combines a solid Sitka Spruce wood top with solid Ovangkol back and sides, a Hybrid "X"/Classical bracing, Wide Fat PRS neck, ebony fingerboard with bird inlays, and a Fishman GT1 pickup, all of which works perfectly together in harmony, and won't cost you an arm and a leg.
Exquisite Tonewoods
A rare but inspired tonewood combination of Spruce top with Figured Maple body comes together in the PRS SE A50EBG in style. Whilst Spruce is renowned the world over for it's bright voice, the Figured Maple joins in the fray by producing a voice that is loud, projective, and well sustained, resulting in an overall voice that's both vibrant and articulate. This is further enhanced by the Hybrid "X"/Classical bracing pattern, which allows the Spruce top to vibrate more freely for a rounder, more projecting tone.
Add to this the Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard, and you have yourself a guitar that's both comfortable to play, and ideal for a variety of playstyles and musical genres, from folk to pop and beyond.
High End Electronics
Fishman's GT1 pickup system helps deliver a dynamic, organic tone, making the transition from rehearsal to the stage as easy as can be. There are also easy-to-access volume and tone controls on the preamp, mounted in the sound hole, allowing you to further shape your tone once it's being amplified
