As is tradition, the body of the PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin is made from solid mahogany which provides beautiful resonance and strong sustain.
Its double cutaway shape not only looks great but makes it easy to reach the higher frets.
The body boasts a hard satin nitro finish allows the guitar to be even more resonant and "open" sounding.
Adding to the resonance and powerful sustain, attached via set neck construction is a pattern regular shaped Mahogany neck.
Atop the neck is a traditional Rosewood fretboard with all the range of 24 frets.
Versatile Voice
The natural qualities of this mahogany guitar combine beautifully with the PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin's humbucking pickups.
Boasting strong mids and clear highs, two 58/15 "S" humbuckers are the driving force behind this guitar's voice.
A three-way blade pickup selector allows you to choose which pickups you're using.
Further versatility is afforded to you via the Push/Pull Tone control which allows for coil-tapping.
High Quality Hardware
Moulded to the body of the PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin is a PRS patented tremolo bridge.
Using this you can get everything from classic rock 'n' roll and surf music whammy bar action to deep dive bombs. The six individual saddles ensure perfect intonation.
Up on the headstock, you'll find six PRS low mass locking tuners providing precise and incredibly secure tuning of your strings.
