Jumbo Acoustic Guitars

Play it loud and play it proud! Jumbo acoustic guitars are specifically designed to create the loudest noise possible from the famous dreadnought design. Adding extra curves in all the right places to generate extra volume and a deeper pitch in most cases. 

Designed by Gibson in the early 20th century, it was created to rival the incredibly popular Dreadnaught design produced by Martin. “Bigger is better” was their philosophy, and so the Jumbo was born. 

WHY GO JUMBO?

Due to their increased size, they often have a lot of air inside the guitar. This means it will require more effort to make the most out of them. In turn, this also means you can get a lot more out of them! Guitarists who favour strumming love a jumbo; folk, country and pop music sounds great from a Jumbo. If it's big in Nashville (Country music’s version of Hollywood), there is a reason for it.
