The Yamaha Pacifica 612VFM MK II features a solid Alder body topped with Flamed Maple Laminate, a trio of Seymour Duncan pickups, Wilkinson vibrato bridge, and Grover locking tuners, representing the very best the Pacifica range has to offer. Sitting at the very pinnacle of Yamaha's prestigious Pacifica range, you'll find the 600 Series. These guitars take that famed Pacifica versatility to the next level, and are packed full of premium hardware and electronics.
Producing those sweet tones is thanks largely to the pickup selection that Yamaha have opted for - a pair of SSL-1 single coils for the Neck and Middle, and a TB-14 bridge humbucker, all courtesy of Seymour Duncan. Add to this the inclusion of a Push/Pull tone control that allows you to split the TB-14 humbucker into a single coil pickup, and you have an even wider range of pristine tones at your disposal.
With the Wilkinson vibrato bridge you can add a whole world of inflections onto your playing, from slight shimmers to deep dive bombs. Because of the Grover locking tuners, you can perform these actions on the vibrato without ever compromising the guitar's tuning! These locking tuners also allow you to perform string changes faster than ever before.
